Louis Horst is one of those names still uttered in tones of awe
by dance historians. Probably no other non-dancer has had such an
influence on modern dance. He was a choreographer, composer, writer,
teacher, and pianist... it's hard to think of what he did other than
actually dance.
This book is perfect for someone interested in the Renaissance Faire,
Dungeons and Dragons, Society for Creative Anacronisms, etc. movements,
and an early photo of Agnes deMille in a Bach Gigue is priceless.
