Depending on which description you read, the Brooklyn Orpheum had a seating capacity of either 1741 or 1,809. It was opened by Percy Williams in 1900 but taken over by the
Keith-Albee chain in 1912, until RKO bought it in 1929. After it became a film house it lasted until the 1950s, when it was closed until razed.
