Avil and Grimm

blackface comic acrobats / c.1904-1913


Avil and Grimm were vaudeville entertainers calling themselves "Comedy Gymnasts" from San Francisco, Calif. at the beginning of the 20th Century .
Avil was Arthur Avil. Their character's were the Zulu Kids (in black face) and the act was called "A DAY IN ZULULAND".
