A kinogram is a set of still images combined to make a moving picture.
Eadweard J. Muybridge, in the 1880s, was the first to examine sprinters' gaits.

The silent newsreel, Kinograms, was developed after World War I and was
dsitributed by Lewis J. Selznick. It went out of business in 1931.
