ORPHEUM'S "PASSION PLAY." / Chicago, Dec. 15.

"The Passion Play of Washington Square" is at the Palace this week.
It is the production organized for the Orpheum Circuit under Martin Beck's
direction, similar to the piece of the same name now in eastern vaudeville.

The cast is headed by Mary Servoos. Others are Frederick Hand,
Gertrude Maitland, Joseph Eggenton. Richard Collins.

The eastern production of "The Passion Play" was produced by the
United Booking Offices, which routed it.

"The Passion Play of Washington Square," a sketch that combines comedy and tragedy,
has a surprise climax and is well acted by Dorothy Shoemaker, Arthur Maitland and
company The story deals with the stage ambitions of a debutante whose doting mother
would have her diverted from that channel.
